Our Members

All women or those who identify as women are welcome to join this non-auditioned choir. UNISONg is a 'come when you can' and 'performing is optional' choir that aims to welcome, support and include those who come to sing on a Monday evening. No prior singing experience is required. Our members range in age from 20-something to 90-something. Every member receives a name badge (first names only) and sings in a section that is comfortable for their voice range (Choir Director, Lyn makes this process easy - you will not be made to sing anything by yourself). Women who decide to become a UNISONg nember receive a login and password to the Members' section of the website where they will find recordings of the songs sung by our Director. Even if you can't read music, you can sing along to these recordings and become familiar with the songs we are learning together. A monthly, one page newsletter, Just Sing Out, provides information on the songs and warmups that we have been singing that month and any social occasions or performance information.

Our choir patron is Marcia Hines and we have been very fortunate to sing for her when she visited Wagga during her tour in 2023. We sang three songs for her - including one of the very songs she loves to sing I've got the Music in Me. UNISONg encourages all its members to enjoy the experience of having the music in them when they are singing in a group. because music can have an extraordinary effect on health and well-being.
